"ll that you achieve, and all that you fail to achieve are the direct results of your own actions".

I saw the above quote at a local gym; I believe it's kind of true only if we do not have any physical disability holding us down.

Physical training should be part of our daily routine, just like how we get up, brush our teeth, take a shower, turn on the TV, read the newspaper, eat breakfast; we all should incorporate fitness into our daily routine.

I think its common sense to do our best to be physically fit for life, not just for the summer, birthday and vacations, we are deceiving ourselves by doing things like these, its not possible to cram, staying fit, it takes time, if one eats potato chips & a BURRITTO for a year, it will probably take another year to get rid of things like these.

I believe that we are what we eat, we should always, listen to our conscience in the moment of choice.

Aerobics, I think it's the best workout, e.g. treadmill; I see a lot of people bypass aerobics and just lift weights. We must all find balance when we workout. Fitness to me should be part of our lifestyle; we should not cry about it, it should be fun.

Below is an example from a book. "First Things First"

Example of a fitness goal for an individual:

WHAT:
MY goal is to maintain a healthy, well discipline body;

WHY:
So that:

I can have the strength, endurance, and physical presentation necessary to effectively fulfill my missions.

I can be an example to my children and to others in effective health maintenance.

I can build my personal character strength.

HOW:
Good nutrition; I will increase my intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, poultry, and fish; I will eat smaller meals more frequently.

Physical maintenance. I will do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise 4 times a week; I will join a basketball or tennis league; and I will get seven hours of sleep a night by retiring and rising early.

Mind/body connection: I will think positive thoughts about my body and health; I will read and attend seminars and workshops to learn more about health.

Focus: I will attend to specific health problems.

As you can see, there is a What, Why and How for this individual workout goal.

Se should all have a mindset similar to the above.

Remember
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so Is he"

May God bless you.

Live with passion.
